Why the blog?

I write as the Spirit moves me. I have prayed about what I'm supposed to do with my life a lot. A lot. Writing. Writing is what I believe God is leading me to do. Whether or not He wants me to write for anyone to read is His business. Much of my writing has been therapy for me so maybe I'm the only one who is supposed to read it. So, why the Blog? As a sounding board, a note pad, a place to keep my ideas and thoughts. A place to share and promote my books, and photography. Written prayers, a place to vent. Possibly, even a place for the unknown reader to learn about the love of Jesus.

For those of you with daughters, may I suggest for your summer reading list "Lessons Learned at Summer Camp" followed by "Mount Mission", "Man in the Mirror" and then "Sanctuary".  


Not to be left out, "Captured" and "Freedom Race" are great reads as well.


I talked to someone yesterday who had read my blog who stated - have you ever thought about becoming a professional, full-time writer?  I kind of laughed to myself but then stated, "That's my goal.  The only thing that will make that happen is people buying my books".


How about we work together to make that happen? I'll write and make my books available and affordable, and you buy my books, tell (ask, plead, beg) your friends to buy my books and then I will have more time to write more books!!!
